Notification of Service Unavailability - Database Upgrade- September 12th, 2018

Cloud Elements is committed to ensuring our customers are successful with our solutions portfolio, and this communication is to notify customers of upcoming down time.

Cloud Elements is conducting scheduled maintenance for platform enhancements and security patching which will cause temporary unavailability. More specifically, we are upgrading our PostgreSQL database environment to allow us to better support our customers, as well as mitigate some open source security vulnerabilities with the current version of PostgreSQL.

During the scheduled maintenance, some services will be unavailable.

Unavailable Services:
Element and Platform APIs - customer applications will receive a 503 HTTP response code for all element and platform APIs.
Element API example: GET /elements/api-v2/hubs/crm/contacts/{id}
Platform API example: GET /elements/api-v2/users/{userId}
Event Polling, Processing, and Notifications - will be offline during the scheduled maintenance, and resume with no loss of data, once maintenance is successfully completed, and all services are back online. Should expect delayed processing only.
Formula Executions - those triggered by events or cron triggers will be delayed, and played once all services are back online. Formula executions with manual triggers will return a 503 and should not be attempted during the scheduled maintenance window.
Bulk Processing and Callback - will resume once systems are back online. Manual triggers to start these processes, e.g., the POST /elements/api-v2/bulk/query API, should not be attempted during the scheduled maintenance window.
Graphical User Interface - both the legacy GUI, at https://console.cloud-elements.com or https://console.cloud-elements.co.uk, and current version of the GUI at https://my.cloudelements.io or https://my.cloudelements.co.uk will be unavailable during the scheduled maintenance window.


Available Services:
Event ingest - events received via webhooks from various service providers, e.g., Dropbox, box, etc. will be ingested and queued for processing during the scheduled maintenance period. Event processing and notifications for the queued events will resume after the maintenance is successfully completed.

Downtime:
Our estimated down time for September 12, 2018 starting 11:00 PM MDT:
EU Production: 1-2 hours

Delays:
We expect that delays in event processing, and the ensuing backlog may take up to 24 hours to complete processing after the scheduled maintenance is completed.
